VesnaKolobarić - art's photostream
Has a degree in Textiles and Fashion Design from the Faculty of Technology in Zagreb (1991.) She has learned the web design (IVORA, Osijek 2010). She has been making unique clothes, doing textile painting, patchwork, quilt, hand weaving, digital design and print, experimental techniques, textile sculptures, 2D and 3D art, makes contemporary jewelery. In different cycles of her work she looks into how the psycho-social, economic and ecological influences shape the visual identity of a certain period of time and how the technological and scientific advances affect the use of material in art creation. All this has been expressed in her cycle of work “Panonian Games”, “Waiting for Godot”, “Timeless”, “Frontal Tam-Tam”, “Pillows”, The Smell of Burning” , "Energy" and so on. Vesna Kolobaric is a member of the textile group of ULUPUH (The Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts), HDLU Istok (Croatian Association of fine art) and HZSU (Croatian Freelance Artists' Association).

BACK TO THE LIFE :)))
Prije mjesec dana srušili su se windowsi u mom laptopu, u međuvremenu sam radila na starom...danas sam ga dobila sa servisiranja... Photoshop i svi dokumenti su mi opet dostupni....kao da sam se vratila u život :))))
...ovo je moja zadnja mini kolekcija nakita.

A month ago windows are collapsed in my laptop, in the meantime I used an old ... I just got back him from the service...Photoshop and all documents are available to me again ... as if I had returned back to the life :))))

...stil je organsko-industrijski....suprostavila sam taktilnosti materijala, hladan metal uz toplo predivo....predivo sam omotavala oko snopa niti i dobila simulaciju organske materije, grane koja se meko oblikuje u krivudavu liniju....oblik latica je prisutan samo u obrisima...poetičan naziv ima formu u tragovima...nepostojanje jasne forme daje dojam misterije, naslučivanje očekivanog....djelomično patiniranje i sjene akcentiraju dojam mistike

...the stile is organic-industrial....cold metal is opposite to warm fiber....yarn is wrapped around the beam and got simulation of organic matter, the branches which is formed in the soft curving line...shape of petals is present only in outline....a poetic name has the form in traces...absence of clear form gives the impression of mystery...partly patination and shadow accentuates the atmosphere of mysticism...
