Vesna Kolobarić: My profession base is a fashion and textile designer. I love the softness of supple fabric, and more is a bigger challenge her float...

Vesna Kolobaric

Has a degree in Textiles and Fashion Design from the Faculty of Technology in Zagreb (1991.) She has learned the web design (IVORA, Osijek 2010). She has been making unique clothes, doing textile painting, patchwork, quilt, hand weaving, digital design and print, experimental techniques, textile sculptures, 2D and 3D art, makes contemporary jewelery. In different cycles of her work she looks into how the psycho-social, economic and ecological influences shape the visual identity of a certain period of time and how the technological and scientific advances affect the use of material in art creation. All this has been expressed in her cycle of work “Panonian Games”, “Waiting for Godot”, “Timeless”, “Frontal Tam-Tam”, “Pillows”, The Smell of Burning” , "Energy" and so on. Vesna Kolobaric is a member of the textile group of ULUPUH (The Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts), HDLU Istok (Croatian Association of fine art) and HZSU (Croatian Freelance Artists' Association).

SNOW SCARF

Soft scarf is very special and pleasant on the skin.

Felt fabric is soft and comfortable on the skin. Scarf gives an elegant winter style . At the ends of the cylinder are rolled wool fabrics. I processed the edges with machine embroidery and it underlines simple sculptural of scarf. At the end of rolled cylinder is ornament with discrete metal rivet.

I finished the edges with black cotton border and hand stitched with hidden stitching, you can`t see the needle stick, very elegant
